As you might be able to gather from its name, MugShot 1.0 is a curious graphic editor that draws both masculine and feminine faces using only spaced text characters, thus creating diverse faces in the style of emoticons for you to use on emails or instant messaging programs.

In MugShot 1.0 you create a face using the drop-down boxes and various selections, then click the camera button to snap a copy to the clipboard. Then you simply go to the program you wish to paste your created face and select paste from that program's edit menu (or press ctrl+v). However, if the face displays incorrectly, try highlighting it and setting the font value to "Courier New"(scalable) or "Courier" (non scalable). The Courier attribute is normally copied with the face but some programs don't accept it and strip it off when you paste.

In MugShot 1.0 for the faces to keep their shape you have to use monospace fonts like Courier. The program also has some predesigned faces.
